July 25th IEPA Brownfield Redevelopment Workshop
Does your community have an abandoned building, old gas station or other potentially contaminated building that is impeding your communities’ future growth? Do you have properties you are afraid to buy for fear of inherent liability issues? Often vibrant community spaces such as housing, parks, trails, and job-creating businesses can be developed on previously used sites, including brownfields. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Program, DeKalb County Community Development, and the Technical Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) Program at Kansas State University will be hosting a free workshop in DeKalb, Illinois on July 25, 2018 (See Attached Flyer).
