Energy giant ComEd helps local business develop
Even during a global pandemic, ChicagoWest Business Center, owned by Jerry Krusinski, CEO of Krusinski Construction Company saw local business development with the construction of a 1.6 million-square-foot distribution and packing center for the 110-year-old confectioner, Ferrara Candy Company. ComEd’s economic development team was there to help with the details.
Ferrara will invest more than $100 million into the development. The project is expected to be fully operational by the spring of 2021 and will bring hundreds of jobs to DeKalb.
