Your company’s participation in hiring practices is needed to assist the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) in gaining an understanding of talent requirements and experiences.
DCEDC’s Talent Pipeline sub-committee is working to identify workforce challenges and opportunities in our market in order to create a Talent Pipeline Management Initiative that puts employers in the role of “end customers” of education and workforce partnerships.
With your company’s input, the sub-committee intends to pilot a multi-faceted talent pipeline development effort that addresses supply and demand for critical industry occupations and sectors. This would include identifying and providing needed training, recruitment, referral or other services and resources.
The Talent Pipeline sub-committee is charged with implementing Goal #1 of DCEDC’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS Plan): Ensure that DeKalb County has a talent pipeline that meets the needs of workers and employers. DCEDC is a public/private partnership dedicated to expanding and diversifying DeKalb County’s economy.
Please support DCEDC to better address the local business development needs so that we can better serve you. We kindly ask for the survey to be completed on, or before, July 19th, 2019. The information provided will be kept confidential.
