Join us at Kishwaukee College for a special follow-up event to our Economic Outlook Luncheon!
Kishwaukee College Conference Center – Dining Room
This presentation explores how automation and artificial intelligence have impacted jobs and wages across U.S. occupations from 2019 to 2024. Using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and recent AI usage insights, it compares how different types of jobs have been affected by emerging technologies. The session also looks at how advances in AI—like generative tools and robotics—are changing the kinds of work machines can do. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how current labor market trends align with earlier predictions about technology and job disruption.
This event features a keynote presentation by Dr. Kristen Broady, Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, following her recent research.
