Since 1993 the DeKalb County Community Foundation has successfully partnered with generous individuals, families, and businesses to benefit organizations and communities throughout DeKalb County. Managing over $65 million in charitable assets and distributing over $3 million a year in grants and scholarships, we connect people who care with causes that matter and work to enhance the quality of life in DeKalb County. The Foundation operates out of the historic Sycamore Train Depot, employs 9 full-time and 2 part-time staff, and is governed by 21 volunteer Board members.

Job Description: The DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP) Assistant supports DCNP’s daily operations by performing the essential duties and responsibilities below. The individual works closely with the DCNP Director, DCNP Steering Committee, DCNP subcommittees, and DCNP members.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating DCNP’s annual membership, program/event support, developing newsletters, social media, and marketing content, administrative duties, project management and administrative support for DCNP’s annual conference, annual giving day, and other initiatives. Job Requirements/Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree, bachelor’s degree preferred.
1-year relevant experience, 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Excellent computer skills, especially in electronic database management and Microsoft Office.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing content across multiple platforms (e.g., social media, website, e-newsletter, etc.).
Experience in and/or knowledge of the local nonprofit sector, foundations, and philanthropy preferred.

Wage/Salary:
$31,500 – $33,500/year depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY: Works in conjunction with the Director of Community Development to encourage and promote orderly City planning, facilitate development, and ensure compliance with all zoning codes. The anticipated starting salary for this position is up to $80,000, depending on qualifications, with a generous benefit package. Diesel Mechanic Position
We are currently looking for an experienced medium/heavy-duty diesel truck technician at our Waterman and Dekalb Locations

Provide assessment of repairs needed by using the diagnostic tools.
Be able to operate most machine shop tools and testing equipment.
Have knowledge of commercial vehicle parts, components and be able to install, when necessary.
Background/Experience:

Have experience as a Medium to Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, with 3+ years experience.
Have personal hand tools.
Have successfully completed diesel tech training/certificate programs.
Have proficient use of a personal computer and basic operations.
Have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, CDL preferred.
